iPartner Healthcare was born from lived experience, a deep commitment to family, dignity, and better care.
When our founder, Collin Perin , faced the reality of his father's declining health, he encountered the same barriers that many families face in Canada’s healthcare system.
After being hospitalized with multiple chronic conditions, including diabetes, dialysis needs, and heart issues, Collins' father was recommended for long-term care. But with a two-year waitlist at nearby facilities, the only immediate option was a transitional home something Collin couldn't accept.
Instead, he brought his father home. He converted the family living room into a care environment, transformed a powder room into a wheelchair-accessible bathroom, installed ramps, and rented medical equipment like a Hoyer lift and hospital bed. RNs, RPNs, and PSWs came to the home, and with their help, he witnessed the quiet strength and compassion of frontline healthcare workers firsthand.
Moved by their dedication, he personally ensured PSWs were paid extra and promised himself that one day,
if he ever built his own agency, he would take care of the people who take care of others.
We exist because care should always be personal, compassionate, and delivered with dignity just as we would want for our own families.
